Several injured after a pickup truck and party bus collide in Cedar Falls

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - A pickup truck and a party bus collided Saturday night in Cedar Falls.

Police and firefighters were called to the intersection of Union Road and 1st Street at around 8:17 pm. Investigators say a northbound 2020 Chevy Silverado failed to stop for a stop sign and was struck by a westbound Dolly's party bus.

Cedar Falls Public Safety says both drivers and one bus passenger were taken to area hospitals for evaluation. Of the roughly 40 passengers on the party bus, several others reportedly had minor injuries.

An investigation into this incident in continuing and criminal charges are pending.
