Rain chances a low again Sunday around Central Florida with temperatures creeping back over 90 on the interior, according to the National Weather Service.

For those headed to the beach, the NWS in Melbourne also warns of life-threatening rip currents that will continue into the week.

“Lingering dry air is keeping most of the area rain-free this morning, with only a sporadic, onshore-moving shower occurring. Weak high pressure remains overhead and the northeast breeze has weakened for now,” forecasters said. “Similar conditions to what we experienced yesterday are forecast today with little change in temperatures (upper 80s-low 90s).”

While there is only a 20% chance of rain for the region Sunday, that will increase to 40-65% on Monday into Tuesday as moisture builds.
