ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man has been arrested after a domestic incident at a home on Albany Street. The Albany Police Department said Michael Haight, 34, allegedly assaulted the victim and then refused to listen to officers.
Albany police were called to the home around 9 p.m. on Saturday. Haight reportedly got into a fight with the victim where he punched her, chocked her and threw her on the floor before police got there.
As officers tried to talk to Haight, he allegedly threw a knife at officers and went back into a bedroom, refusing to listen to what officers told him. The Albany Police Department’s Emergency Service Team and Crisis Management Team then responded to the scene.
