Fairbanks nonprofits and businesses had an opportunity to get to know each other at a special gathering hosted by Bettisworth North Architects and Planners in Fairbanks on September 10.

Dubbed “Celebrating Alaska Nonprofit Community Builders” the event featured 13 nonprofits who shared information with local businesses

“It’s part of our philosophy and our vision of being a team,” said Tracy Vanairsdale, president of Bettisworth North.

Born and raised in Fairbanks, she said it is her “honor and responsibility to help find ways to give back.”

The Bettisworth Anchorage office hosted a similar successful gathering a year ago and wanted to hold a related event in Fairbanks.
