STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) – A new Trader Joe’s is opening up this week on Staten Island.

The new location is opening at 6400 Amboy Road, across the street from the Pleasant Plains train station. It’s the second Trader Joe’s location on Staten Island.

The store will open on Wednesday at 8 a.m., then will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Shoppers can expect all their Trader Joe’s favorites, but no alcohol, according to the store’s website.

There are already 17 Trader Joe’s locations across New York City, including one on Richmond Avenue.

Many people took to social media to celebrate the new opening.
