GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) -- One person is in the hospital after a shooting in Greensboro on Sunday, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

At 1:02 am, Greensboro officers responded to the 4200 block of Bernau Avenue when they were told about an aggravated assault.

Responding officers found a victim who had apparently been shot and was taken a hospital by EMS.

No suspect information is available at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
