ALPINE, N.Y. (WETM) — The Cantata Singers are coming back to the Southern Tier, and people are invited to enjoy a free concert, as stated in a release from the Schuyler County Historical Society.

On Sunday, Sept. 28, the Cantata Singers, a choral group founded in Elmira in 1964, are set to perform a free concert at Lawrence Chapel, located at 2770 NY-228 in Alpine, the release explained.

The Cantata Singers are a community-based group that has performed over 150 concerts for free throughout the Southern Tier region, the release noted. The choral group is scheduled to start singing at 1 p.m. with ten songs in the lineup, the release said.
