A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man died in two unrelated car crashes on Maryland’s Eastern Shore Saturday night, state police said.
According to Maryland State Police (MSP), troopers responded to northbound U.S. Route 301 near Hayden Clark Road in Centreville, Queen Anne’s County, around 11:22 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
MSP said a preliminary investigation indicates that a GMC Acadia was attempting to cross the U.S. Route 301 from Hayden Clark Road when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle was struck by a motorcycle.
The motorcycle operator, Marcus Dangerfield, 20, of Dover, Delaware, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Inside the GMC was a 45-year-old male driver and a 38-year-old female passenger, both of whom were taken to the R. Adams C
