A man has tragically passed away at a motorway service station after suffering a medical emergency. Birch services, located on the M62 eastbound near Heywood, was the scene of the incident, with emergency services being called out at 10.05am this morning (September 21). ‌

The unfortunate individual, a 50 year old man, is believed to have experienced a cardiac arrest in his vehicle, according to Greater Manchester Police.Regrettably, he was pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by GMP, reports the Manchester Evening News . ‌
