DALLAS — One person died after they were shot in Oak Lawn, Dallas police said.

Officers responded around 1:20 a.m. to the 4100 block of Cedar Springs Road, Dallas police said in a statement.

Investigators found that a man was shot at the location, the release states. The victim, who was later identified as 48-year-old Thomas Sebastinelli, was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Police arrested 32-year-old Earnest Polk in connection with the shooting, the release states. He is charged with murder, police said.

Police are investigating the incident, officials said.
