As the seasons change, so do the clocks in most of the United States, prompting an adjustment for many as the days get shorter and darkness approaches earlier in the day.
We now await the change back to Standard Time after enjoying a few warm-weather months in Daylight Saving Time, when we’re allowed that extra hour of daylight.
As we approach the change back to Standard Time, here are a few things to know before we “fall back.”
1. The end approaches
Daylight Saving Time 2025 is scheduled to end on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2 a.m. On this date, clocks will “fall back” one hour, returning to Standard Time. This transition marks the period where daylight hours begin to decrease significantly as winter approaches.
