LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A pedestrian is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car early Sunday morning.
The crash was reported just before 2:30 a.m. on Sammy Davis Jr. Drive north of the Frank Sinatra Drive intersection, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officials.
Investigators said a 32-year-old man was lying in the right lane when a 2022 Kia K5 hit him. The car came to a stop after the crash.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the driver, 25-year-old Alyssa Burt, remained on scene and showed signs of impairment. She was arrested on DUI-related charges.
The crash remains under investigation.
