(KAMR/KCIT) — The 11th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners stayed unbeaten, improving to 4-0 with a win over No. 22 Auburn.

Quarterback John Mateer delivered an efficient performance, completing 24 of 36 passes for 271 yards and a touchdown. He also led the Sooners in rushing with 29 yards. Isaiah Sategna III emerged as Mateer’s favorite target, hauling in nine receptions for 127 yards and a score.

Meanwhile, the 8th-ranked Texas Longhorns rolled past Sam Houston State in a dominant 55-0 shutout. Arch Manning played with a chip on his shoulder, throwing for 309 yards and three touchdowns while adding two more scores on the ground. The win pushes Texas to 3-1 on the season.
