The Hobbton Wildcats’ volleyball team dominated the Lakewood Leopards Thursday afternoon, taking the match 3-0 in a home conference match.

The Wildcats got the first game 25-17. In that game, the Hobbton girls had a hard time getting anything going. They would get two or three points, then the Leopards would answer with one or two of their own. Toward the end, Wildcat Miley McLamb was serving and had eight straight points on serve. In those eight points, she had two aces. Zanna Hairr had a kill, Carmen Hunter had two kills, and Lola Warren had a block and a kill. Multiple people stepped up during that eight-point run.
