Don’t worry, Seattle. There’s still time before the rainy season engulfs Western Washington, the National Weather Service predicts.

While wet and rainy conditions swept the region Sunday, conditions are expected to dry up as the third week of September continues, Kirby Cook, a meteorologist at the weather service office in Seattle, said.

Sunday will see a high of 67 with showers and cloudy skies at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the forecast reads. The clouds will begin to dissipate overnight, and Monday will see sunny skies with a high of 70.

Temperatures at Sea-Tac will rise throughout the week, with Tuesday and Wednesday predicted to reach 75, according to the forecast. Later in the week, temperatures will slowly slide down the thermometer with a predicted high of 71 on Thursd
