SHREVEPORT, La. -- The Caddo Parish coroner has released the names of the two men killed in an early morning mass shooting Saturday.

Johnny Ray Robinson, 44, and Jonathan Green, 41, died at Ochsner LSU Health hospital at 1:35 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. respectively. They had been transported there from the scene in the 1600 block of Poland Street in the Allendale neighborhood.

Shreveport police said about 150 people had gathered at the location for a party before shots were fired. Eight people were struck by gunfire, including a person SPD said was the target of the shooting.

That person is among the six who survived, police said.

The deaths of Robinson and Green are the 27th and 28th confirmed homicides to date in the city in 2025.
