SHREVEPORT, La. – Zachary Keller of West Monroe has been nominated as the next U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Louisiana.
His nomination on Sept. 15 by President Donald Trump has been sent to the U.S. Senate and referred to the Judiciary Committee
If approved, Keller will replace former U.S. Attorney Brandon Brown, who resigned on Jan. 20. Alex Van Hook is serving as interim U.S. attorney.
Keller is currently the deputy chief of major crimes for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Miami, Fla.
He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from LSU and law degree from Yale.
