WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - The Wichita Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred near downtown Wichita Sunday morning.

Around 8:40 a.m., a 62-year-old man walked into Fire Station #2 near Lincoln and Broadway with a gunshot wound to the leg after a shooting that occurred in the 1300 block of South Topeka. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to survive.
