Auburn has fallen out of the latest AP Top 25 College Football poll following its loss at Oklahoma, while Alabama has dropped three spots despite having a bye week.

Auburn had been ranked No. 22 before losing to Oklahoma 24-17 . Auburn entered the poll last week for the first time under third-year coach Hugh Freeze.

Alabama fell from No. 14 to No. 17. This season, it had been as high as No. 8 before losing to Florida State in the season opener, which dropped the Crimson Tide to No. 21 the following week.

Both Alabama and Auburn can improve their positions next week. Alabama will play at No. 5 Georgia, while Auburn will be at No. 9 Texas A&M.

Elsewhere, Miami jumped LSU and Penn State into the No. 2 spot behind Ohio State, while Oklahoma climbed for places to No. 7 after the win over
