Philadelphia Eagles head of security Dom DiSandro was fined $75,000 for texting from the sidelines during the preseason game against the New York Jets.

The Eagles appealed the fine, but this week the NFL denied the appeal, according to multiple reports.

Th NFL prohibits players, coaches and staff from using personal cell phones and electronic devices on the sidelines, starting 90 minutes before the game until the game ends.

Exceptions exist for medical staff to communicate injury information or for football operations staff handling non-competitive communication outside restricted areas.
