After being held more than a year by the Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS), a pit bull-type dog named Enzo has been returned to his owners, according to brief statements issued by LAPS, the Township of Langley, and his owners.
"LAPS can confirm that today the dog named Enzo was released back into the custody of his owners," said a Friday, Sept 19 statement posted to the LAPS website.
"This release follows an agreement between all parties that resolves the ongoing provincial court proceedings involving Enzo. As this matter is now resolved, LAPS will not be commenting further."
