No one was arrested for drunk driving at a Chula Vista police DUI checkpoint Saturday night, but 32 citations were issued, according to authorities.

Of the 1,560 vehicles that traveled through the checkpoint, 743 were screened by officers, according to Agent Brian Carter of the Chula Vista Police Department .

Citations for driving on a suspended license or unlicensed driving were issued to 23 motorists, while three vehicles were impounded, Carter said. Three drivers were given field sobriety tests, but passed.

The checkpoint was held in the 600 block of Palomar Street from 5:30 p.m. to midnight.
