A man is facing a litany of charges after leading deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office on a chase early Sunday morning.

Jabarri Napier, 39, was driving north on Highway 58 with an expired registration, according to an affidavit obtained by Local 3 News.

The deputy following him turned on his emergency lights and tried to get him to pull over, but he continued driving north.

Napier's car was crossing the lines, indicating he may have been impaired. The deputy also saw him throw a metallic cylinder out of the driver's side window, which was later determined to be alcohol.

The pursuit continued reaching speeds of 70 miles per hour.

One deputy used the PIT maneuver, which got the car to go across the median and into the southbound lane, ultimately resting in the median.
