(WHTM/AP) -- The Nittany Lions fell in the Associated Press Top 25 poll this week.
Penn State, which had been No. 2 since the preseason, was idle and slipped to No. 3.

The Nittany Lions were jumped by a Miami Hurricane team that has beaten two ranked opponents en route to their highest ranking since 2017.
Ohio State, also idle this week, remains in the top spot with 52 of 66 first-place votes.
Penn State received five first-place votes, while Miami had seven, and Oregon and Oklahoma each had one.
