JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) - The Janesville Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a person involved in an identity theft investigation.

JPD says the individual is suspected of purchasing merchandise fraudulently from three different businesses on September 11. They say he purchased $2,200 worth of stolen merchandise.

Anyone having information about this individual is encouraged to contact the Janesville Police Department at (608) 755-3100 or to call Janesville Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 756-3636.
