SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - This week will begin with temperatures that will be several degrees above normal. Any rain on Monday and Tuesday will be very isolated except for the northern edge of the area. Strong to possibly severe storms will threaten all of the area on Tuesday night and Wednesday.
The heat continues: Temperatures on Monday will remain above normal. Lows Monday morning will begin in the 60s and lower 70s. Daytime highs on Monday afternoon will return to the low to middle 90s. Normal lows for this time of year are in the middle 60s. Normal highs are in the mid to upper 80s.
