SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - It is the first day of Fall, and it will take us a few days to shake the summer heat as we'll be in the 90s today and tomorrow. A cold front will arrive Tuesday night into Wednesday, and we will need to be on alert for severe weather when it rolls through.
Monday: It will be a partly to mostly cloudy day with morning temperatures in the low 70s, with highs in the 80s and low 90s. There is a chance of spotty rain showers and thunderstorms, mainly along and north of I-30 in Oklahoma and Arkansas, by late morning and afternoon. There is a 'Marginal Risk' of severe thunderstorms, as a damaging wind gust can't be ruled out. A Marginal Risk means an isolated severe storm is possible, but widespread severe weather is not expected.
Tuesday through Tuesday night: Tue
