Was it the traditional champagne celebration after a hard-fought 8-5 win over the Kansas City Royals and the anti-climactic celebration to secure at least an American League wildcard spot?

Or was it the rather large exhale after the Jays snapped a four-game losing streak – it’s longest skid since late July?

Probably a bit of both after a rather tepid road trip in which his team certainly appeared to be feeling the tightness of the time of year while dealing with external premature party planning.
