NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - With fall officially starting Monday, it’s time to be on the lookout for leaves changing colors.
So, Tennessee State Parks has released predictions on when the Midstate will see its peak fall foliage.
Their map predicts most of Middle Tennessee will start seeing the leaves change colors in mid-October and peak by Halloween.

Tennessee State Parks also said that deciduous trees, which are trees that lose their leaves annually, are usually bare by Thanksgiving.

Montgomery Bell State Park in Dickson County
Tims Ford State Park in Moore Co
