MADISON, Wis. — About 20 activists committed their Sunday to making their voices heard, walking roughly 12 miles around Lake Monona to call for an end to the war between Israel and Hamas on the International Day of Peace.

The march, organized by the local chapter of World Beyond War, began and ended on Willy Street as participants sought to raise awareness about what they consider American complicity in the ongoing conflict.
