BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - It has been a quiet two weeks across the Brazos Valley, marked by humidity, heat, and little to no rain. This stagnant pattern was thanks to high pressure parked over Texas, however as we step into the new week, it will finally start to relent.

Frontal Passage expected by Wednesday into Thursday (KBTX)

This shift will open the door for an upper-level trough over the Pacific Northwest to push further south across the Central Plains, dragging a weak cold front along with it. While this front won’t do much for our temperatures, it could provide just what we need to kickstart some rain and rumbles by mid-week this week.
