Liam Gallagher could be ordered to pay as much as STG500,000 ($A1 million) a year in child support for his daughter Gemma, according to a report.
The Oasis singer, 53, fathered Gemma, now 11, with US music journalist Liza Ghorbani in 2013 while still married to All Saints member Nicole Appleton and has been facing legal pressure to increase his payments as he tours with Oasis.
A source has told The Sun newspaper amid her latest push for more cash: "He believed he was already providing Liza with generous maintenance fees."
Gallagher has four children in total but has never met Gemma, who lives in the United States with her mother and is understood to be autistic.
Until recently, the rock singer was thought to have been paying about STG3000 a month in maintenance.
