Parker Romo , and the rest of the Falcons, had a Week 3 to forget.
The ex- Patriots kicker went 0-for-2 in field goal attempts in Atlanta’s 30-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon.
The performance comes a week after Romo went 5-for-5 and hit kicks from 29, 33 (two times), 38 and 54 yards. He also made his lone PAT.
Romo signed with the Falcons earlier this month after being waived by the Patriots despite being more reliable than Andy Borregales — who had a rough game for New England hours before Romo’s 5-for-5 day last week.
The Falcons began the year with Younghoe Koo, but released him after they signed Romo. Koo missed a crucial 44-yard field goal in the final seconds in the Falcons’ 23-20 loss in Week 1.
