Guardians’ 10-game winning streak ends in 6-2 loss to Twins; miss chance to tie Tigers for first

MINNEAPOLIS — You can’t win them all, but the Guardians sure picked a heckuva time to lose one.

They took a 2-0 lead in the first inning Sunday, but the Guardians’ well-rested bullpen — starters Slade Cecconi and Logan Allen pitched 15 scoreless innings in Saturday’s doubleheader sweep — allowed two late homers as the Twins rallied for a 6-2 win at Target Field.
