LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Texas Department of Public Safety is requesting the help of the public in identifying the suspect in an alleged human smuggling case.

In a recent incident near the Laredo College South Campus, Border Patrol agents requested the help of Texas DPS troopers.

A trooper located a white truck that was allegedly involved in human smuggling, but when the trooper tried to stop the truck, a chase began.

The truck eventually stopped at a house on Pine Street, where the driver and an undocumented person got out and ran away.

DPS is investigating the incident and trying to identify the suspect.
