NEW YORK (WABC) -- It is one of the largest African American Day parades in the country where NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani got a warm welcome in Harlem.
"I love seeing everybody, any leader who's going to show up to pour community to say our community counts, our community will shape the future of New York City," said Harlem resident Sade Lythcott.
Holding the lead in the race, Mamdani just scored several big endorsements on both the state and national level.

"I've appreciated the conversations I've had with Congressman Jeffries and they are conversations that come back to affordability, the importance of it," said Mamdani.
