BUTTE, Mont. – The Mother Lode Theatre in Butte is looking to its future and has released a survey to gather community input on its upcoming plans.
The theatre, which celebrated its 100th birthday last year, is managed by the Butte Center for Performing Arts . Jocelyn Dodge, president of the organization, spoke about their intentions.
“We’re really looking toward the next 100 years. You know, what type of programming does the community in the surrounding area in Southwest Montana want to see? Looking at various renovations that we need to do,” said Dodge.
The building last underwent major renovations in the early 1990s. Dodge explained the areas they are considering for updates.
