A Garfield County jury issued a verdict Friday night awarding a family $205 million in damages over the death of a Colorado Springs girl on an amusement park ride at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in September 2021.

The verdict followed a wrongful-death trial brought by the parents of 6-year-old Wongel Estifanos against Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, two of its employees and Soaring Eagle Inc., which designed the ride.
