FOXBOROUGH, Ma. -- The Pittsburgh Steelers moved to 2-1 over the New England Patriots , and they came out of it with no new injuries. Head coach Mike Tomlin delivered the good news for a battered team, and said that while they had some bumps and bruises, he did not anticipate any of them being serious.
Darius Slay had a ‘leg contusion’ but toughed it out. During his time out, James Pierre came into the football game in relief of him. It is not expected to sideline Slay at all. He also had a shoulder issue that limited him early last week.
Meanwhile, offensive tackle Broderick Jones had a shoulder issue but came back in the game. Tomlin said it was not serious, and Jones said after the game that he was fine.
The Steelers welcomed back Derrick Harmon, and are hoping that cornerback
