LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A local non-profit let hundreds of high schoolers pick their perfect homecoming outfit on Sunday, helping their dreams come true for an affordable price.
11th graders Bailey Villerot and Cassie Crowell were among the dozens of girls searching for the right dress at Cinderella's Closet in Howell.
"Last year I came and I got a cute dress that was blue and long that I love a lot," Villerot said.
The dresses are priced at $25 each, and organizers say all of the proceeds will go to the LACASA Center, a local non-profit that helps victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.
To make the dress shopping even more magical, Miss Michigan 2025 Hannah Palmer visited the closet as a special guest to support LACASA's mission in empowering women.
