NEW ALBANY, Ind. —
Foodies flocked to downtown New Albany this weekend for a chance to enjoy a taste of "Super Chef" Darnell Ferguson's signature dishes.
The local chef brought his well-known entrees, like chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and banana pudding, for a three-day pop-up restaurant at The Platform.
The event ran from Thursday through Sunday, operating from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day.
Reservations were required to dine in, but takeout options were also available to those without bookings.
Ferguson said the event was designed to bring Super Chefs back to its roots.
"We started up with Super Chefs in a pop-up restaurant. So, it was like, it's wanting to get back into things now and doing the same thing we did when we began," he said.
