RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB) - On Sunday, September 21, Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office released a statement about recent social media posts about a possible threat to Oak Hill High School on Monday, September 22.
RPSO said they are aware of the posts and detectives have been investigating since Sunday afternoon.
They said there was also an alleged threat made last Thursday, but it was determined not credible.
RPSO said they always treat these kinds of threats as if they were viable until they are proven otherwise.
They intend to use every investigation tool at their disposal to identify the individual or group involved in the alleged threat.
RPSO asked for patience as they continue to investigate.
No further information was released.
