From a welcoming learning environment to hands-on clinical training, Breanna Dover, a third-year nursing student at Laurentian University, is celebrating a transformative academic journey rooted in a deep commitment to community care.
As a mature student, Dover said she chose nursing with a clear goal: to make a difference in Northern Ontario’s healthcare system. She credits Laurentian’s supportive atmosphere and strong academic resources for helping her thrive.

“My experience at Laurentian University has been incredibly positive,” Dover said in a release. “I’ve felt supported by the wide range of resources available, especially the financial assistance through bursaries and the welcoming, well-equipped library space that has become my favourite study spot.”
