SPOKANE, Wash. -- As you make your plans around Spokane for the week, you might want to give yourself extra time to get where you're going due to ongoing construction.
Starting Monday, September 22, drivers traveling south on North Ash Street should expect significant delays between West Indiana Avenue and West Maxwell Avenue.
The delays are a result of stalled progress on the Maxwell Avenue bike and pedestrian safety upgrades project due to work on the city's stormwater system.
The slowdowns are expected to last through Wednesday, September 24.
What to Expect:
Southbound lanes on Ash St. will be merge from three lanes to ONE LANE Sept. 22nd-24th between Augusta Ave. and Maxwell Ave.
Lane reductions likely to cause congestion on eastbound Northwest Blvd. and southbound Ash St
