Man shot and killed by suspect who got out of car, opened fire in DeKalb parking lot, police say

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man was gunned down in a DeKalb County parking lot on Sunday afternoon, police said.

DeKalb County Police responded to the 6500 block of Covington Highway just after 4 p.m. on Sunday. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot and was lying dead in the parking lot.

Police said that early indications show that a vehicle pulled up, a suspect got out of the car, and the man was shot dead.
