Two people are reported injured following a car vs. motorcycle crash in Hartford, authorities said.

At approximately 1:23 p.m., the Hartford Fire Department said they responded to the crash along 755 Capitol Ave.

Upon arrival, authorities said they found one person with serious injuries while the other person had minor injuries.

The Hartford Fire Department said that both individuals were transported to the hospital.

Following the initial accident, the car involved fled the scene, according to authorities.

At this time, The Hartford Police Department is actively investigating the incident.
