NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) - A group of Palestinian supporters worked to raise awareness about what is going on in Gaza and why people in Connecticut should care.
Members of Jewish Voices For Peace gathered at the ‘Pedal for Palestine’ bike tour in New Haven on Sunday.
They rode the streets from the Mill River to the Long Island Sound to bring attention to what they call a genocide in Gaza and the West Bank.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, more than 65,000 Palestinians have been killed so far.
The seven mile route included multiple shops along the way to show people what has been lost in Palestine.
They said this included access to food, water, and education.
