Thunderstorms, some severe, are moving through North Texas on Sunday evening, bringing strong wind gusts and quarter-size to half dollar-sized hail in some areas.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is in effect for North Texas, including Dallas and Fort Worth, until 10 p.m.

Thanks to northwest flow aloft and upper-level disturbances, showers and thunderstorms are possible across North Texas through tonight. The area is under a LEVEL 1 (MARGINAL RISK) to LEVEL 2 (SLIGHT RISK) for severe storms. The primary threats are damaging winds and large hail. Please stay weather aware!
