CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - More than 200 people attended the Revivify: Farm to Table event in downtown Cape Girardeau.

Those who attended were treated to live music, a floral banquet bar and a 4-course feast prepared with ingredients largely supplied by Riverfront Farmers Market vendors.

Three downtown chefs, Gabriele Ruggieri, Doc Cain, and DeWayne Schaaf, prepared the meal.

Old Town Cape volunteer Andi Evans says, “Our chefs. Our farmers. Our volunteers that make sure your water glasses are filled and that your table is set up properly for you to join us tonight. It takes a community to stay strong and to bring something great like this for everybody. And I think it’s great to reflect...that we need each other to make something great like this happen.”
