NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Hurricane Gabrielle continues to intensify while getting closer and closer to Bermuda, and there's two spots behind it that are seeing upped chances for potential tropical formation over the the next week.

First spot in the ORANGE is what the National Hurricane Center says is "a broad tropical wave in the central tropical Atlantic [that's] producing limited showers and thunderstorms well to the west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands."

The NHC forecasts that dry air could prevent development over the next day or so, but environment conditions may gradually become more favorable in the middle to latter part of this week with the chance to see a tropical depression form.

This system continues moving west-northwestward to northwestward across the central Atlantic.
